Susan (Suze) Traynor

Senior Physiotherapist

Suze is a skilled physiotherapist from Calgary, Canada, holding a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. She has experience working across hospital and private practice settings, with advanced training in dry needling, clinical Pilates, and managing acute and chronic injuries.

Suze has a strong clinical interest in TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction and has completed further training in this area. She supports patients dealing with jaw pain, clicking or locking, headaches linked to jaw muscle tension, difficulty chewing, and discomfort when speaking or yawning.

Her expertise also includes managing TMJ problems associated with joint hypermobility and connective tissue disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). In these cases, Suze focuses on enhancing jaw stability, reducing pain, and improving functional movement through tailored physiotherapy techniques and exercises.

Suze works collaboratively with each client to develop personalised rehabilitation plans designed to restore comfort, improve function, and support long-term jaw health.

Outside of the clinic, Suze enjoys participating in community events, playing sports, and exploring the Broome region — a welcome change from the cold, snowy mountains of her hometown.
